Utilities
You should make arrangements for utilities to be turned on as early as possible as some utilities may require up to one week's notice. It is the Tenant's responsibility to have the utilities turned off AFTER the final move-out inspection is completed.
Please ensure that you tell the Utility company the name of your Property Manager, not just "Shaffer Real Estate," so that when they call to verify your tenancy, they can be quickly directed. Otherwise, your utility transfer could be delayed.
